This page will accumulate information on testing software.

Despite many years writing code I have only recently become aware of the facilities and techniques for automatic testing of software, and the benefits that result. Part of this was brought home to my by the book "The Pragmatic Programmer", but also by problems with my own code development in Ruby. After hearing about RubyUnit, I explored the issues further as detailed below.
